11:08 AM|ich bin, also in der Stimmung, Arbeit hatte zu *ºberspringen heute einen sehr gro*üen Kampf mit meinem meinem Vater mom. hing oben das Telefon auf mir, als ich fragte, ob er mein Hunde-archie f*ºr einige Wochen innen nehmen k**nnte und mein Gesicht Schreien geschwollen wird, was gro*üe day.

3:27 PM|ha!!! i got this link off of usr/bin/girl's site... it's called KickUps... {is a Flash game where you try to see how long you can keep the ball up in the air (similar to a hackey sack) by clicking on it.} have fun!! at least i know what my next hour here will be spent doing...

12:35 PM|so for some reason, this morning i got to thinking about my old life... (a.k.a. - My Childhood)... and there are parts that i look upon it wistfully, and then it turns into a bitter feeling... i will (hopefully) not ramble on too much... brief synopsis: my family used to own Spring Meadow Golf Course in Allaire NJ (as well as owning Bennett Sand & Gravel in Wall Twp.) - the State of NJ told my grandparents in the early 1980's they had to sell the state the golf course because it was where a Water Reservoir would be located -- mind you, the family had called this property home for a few generations -- so they sold it... and wouldn't you know it, there just happened to be a shift in the location of the reservoir, and Spring Meadow is still open now as a state run public golf course... and it sickens and saddens me when i hear golfers calling it Spring Ghetto now because the state didn't quite put the devotion and care into it like my family had... sorry, just galls me... was surfing the web and the spring meadow page up and slapped me in the face... on a medical note: mom had her stress test yesterday... results are in...stress test turned out fine! so she can have the surgery at any time... which means i will be down the shore a good deal of the summer taking care of her...(i am sorta scared about this... about losing my job... about her maybe not making it through -- my uncle val has felt horrible since his aneurysm operation a month ago today... and he was in better shape than mom... she has been smoking MORE -- up to 4 packs/day still and the doc said she will have trouble getting off the ventilator...) anyway... what else?? trying to end this blurb on a lighter note... oh! had another date with joe last night... good stuff all around... watched U-571 and yapped at the teevee a la MST3K had a great time (and my house was clean!! yippeeeee!!!!) 10:45 AM|!@#%@^& FREEZING in the office today.... brrrrr... let's see... an update for those who care: JC elected Glenn Cunningham mayor. i have no comment. i want my mittens, my fingers are numb from the air conditioning... have to go back to ChiroGuy today (yes, i am making him into a superhero... 'able to crack my back in 7 places, able to twist my neck around 3 times...it's ChiroGuy!!!") it'd be nice if i had SOMETHING to work on today.. such is the life of an art director, the higher up you climb on the ladder, the more $$ you take up in the budget, and the account people don't use you...stupid shite. grrrrrr (apparently this is a Grrrr & Brrrr Day) Tuesday, June 05, 2001

5:01 PM|"New episodes of "Family Guy" will air Wednesdays at 9:30 on FOX before the series moves into its regular 8 p.m. Thursday slot in the fall." yay!!!!!! oh my gawd! i LOVE the family guy...it had left us for a while but they are smart enough to bring it back!!!! yay!!!! seth macfarlane is talented as all heck!!! kills me!!!! but thursday nights at 8pm???!?!!? what are FOX executives? NUTS?!?!?! it's the kiss of death... come on.... 8pm is friends and survivor... crap... well, survivor III doesn't start til january, so at least it'll give the family guy sort of a chance... but it's still up against friends... craaaaap.

PRAISE THE CHIROPRACTOR!!! i am not hunched over...and i can walk!!! no pain!!! yay!!! although he DID say i might be stiff later tonight... whatever.... i am FINE now!!! yay!!!! Cracky McFurckle popped the heck outta my back!!! ahhhhhh relief!!!!! i have to go back on wednesday... hopefully i will be snapped in half.... yay!! can you tell i feel better?!?!? i will keep going back to him til i can wrap my legs around my neck like a contortionist without bones (ermm... maybe...)
1:01 PM|so i broke down and am going to a chiropractor at 3pm... y'all must think i am a hypochondriac... i am not... i actually am thinking of all of YOU... what? you say... yes... YOU... otherwise i will be whining on this thing for 3 weeks about my back being jacked up... i need a wheelchair i think right now... walking like i am 98 years old (sexy, eh?)
12:18 PM|MOTHER OF GAWD i forgot to tell y'all!.... i went on saturday to this place called Jennifer Maxx and had this Thermolight thing done - i thought it was going to be like a laser thing..because waxing is evil on the bikini line...but jeezuz!! ACK! OW!... all it turned out to be was a big russian lady with a penlight that was attached to a pair of tweezers.. and she !@(*#!@$^ TWEEZED my bikini area... $110 for an hour... whadda waste!! yeowch!!!... i was praying to gawd that it'd be over soon and i vowed to never go there again... jeez... too much info i know. but...
11:33 AM|so... i am not always into the horoscopes (especially on the days when they say i should stay inside...) but the one online horoscope thang that freaks me out sometimes is iwon.com's horoscopes i mainly consider myself to be a gemini, but every so often my birthday shifts over to the cancerous side of the cusp... try it! you can even check out your love matches and such on the ol' zodiac... or see what kind of co-worker will annoy the bejeezuz outta you...
10:21 AM|i threw my back out (slightly) this morning by jumping out of bed to hit the snooze button...dammit. i am getting old... (17 days til i am 31, kids! zoiks!) i forgot my cell phone at home today, feel a bit out of sorts... eating a bacon, egg, cheese with picante sauce on a roll this morning -- yum! and Speedy's coffee is damned good today!!! also just found out there's gonna be a total solar eclipse on my birthday... unfortunately, i don't think, based on where i am located, that i will be able to see it... so... those of you around uruguay and south africa, look up directly into the eclipse and sing happy birthday to me... i am giving you 17 days notice... anyone else out there born on june 21st? lemme know!!! 11:54 PM|hey all! well, i was supposed to have a date with joe but will have to wait til wednesday...that's okay (although it would have been great to see him*) at least my apartment is sparkling (enough) oh, weighed in yesterday morning at ww and i only gained 0.2 pounds, which i am really happy about because between my mom being sick and griping at me & the 2 days of food festivals, and a couple of dates with beer, i didn't gain much at all -- don't worry, there are no ribs to be seen on the body yet :) just finished watching the tonys (did i mention i am seeing the Producers in JANUARY?) saw Proof a month and a half ago, just won Best Play... was great! also finished watching HBO's Six Feet Under what a keen new series... i adore Peter Krause he used to be on the now defunct Sports Night which can be seen in repeats on comedy central, but i digress... what else? the diner wouldn't serve me poached eggs yesterday... evil FAT from hell yucky faced waitress growled at me "what are you crazy? we don't serve poached eggs on weekends" so i set my coffee down slapped a dollar on the counter and left. i hate that waitress. |
