so i got home last night at around 10... 3 of us from work went to ruby tuesday's for some grub and beer.
(i was good. turkey burger, fries, 2 beers - corona... oh. and some spinach con queso dip)
we had a good chat... started off with work, then it started off with relationships... which, once i lose the weight, get a new wardrobe, clean and reorganize my apartment, grow my hair - which, by the way, i am coming to terms with because i was able to use my old ConAir hot styling brush yesterday... do you KNOW what that means!?!?! DO YOU!?!?
it means my hair is actually LONG enough to wrap around a styling brush! and when i use that thing, it sort of straightens the hair and makes it longer!
okay... so i am excited about having hair again.
also... for the past 3 days, i must admit that i have given up the Joe and started using Crest Whitestrips
after 3 days - and you're supposed to use them for 14 - i seriously see the difference. too bad i didn't do a before and after shot... although you can tell that my teeth look a little too "coffee-lovin'" in that picture i posted a week or so ago when i was holding joanne's baby.
it's not like i thought that my teeth were brown or anything, it's just that i know that my teeth HAD been whiter at one point - in fact i had gone to the dentist in 1995 and was fitted for a whitening tray and had whitened them... then the coffee addiction started full force once i began working in NYC.
i had referred a co-worker to the dermatologist i went to once... i got in the mail on thursay a letter that said thank you from the doctor and because i"trusted his expertise by referring someone" they are offering me a "free chemical peel"... i may just keep that in my pocket... anyone ever have one? what do they do? doesn't your face crust up fter you have that done? i mean i have a few, very few and faint scars from the lovely bout with teenage acne that happened 14 years ago... i am not concerned with wrinkles... in fact i can't wait to get them... what's a chemical peel do? just refresh the skin?
no, i am not getting vain... i am just prepping my leave from the cocoon that i have put myself in this year.
