very sick

everyone...please send good thoughts, wishes and get well vibes...

my credit.

yes. my credit is sickly.

cross your fingers that i am approved for a secured credit card from capital one.

i am trying to re-establish my credit... to bring out the paddles and shock it back to life, so to speak...

i was young and foolish when i got my first credit card back in college... there they were, sitting at a folding table with balloons and free gummy bears... poaching poor college kids that had no income... and i fell victim...

my first real credit card was cut in half back in 1991 at blockbuster video on south street in philly.

now, when i make really good cash, i can't get a card. irony at it's finest.

i am paid up on all debt... paid in full letters in hand.
student loans... PAID.
medical stuff... PAID
bally's heath & fitness from 1995... PAID
miscellaneous items.... PAID

unfortunately, the credit reports say i am either delinquent or have no history. what the eff?!

they also say i haven't worked since 1993.

and that my birthday is in 1971.

three different credit report companies - all with different info.

jeezuz. this is making me sick.

anyone know the ins and outs of credit?
