the thing that really got me irate was michael moore's "speech" if you'd like to call it that. the pig that won for "bowling for columbine" and started screaming about a "fictitious president" - dude, i am a reformed democrat - yeah, i voted Gore. (hey - sometimes i swing back that way, but when i hear people shoving this crap down people's throats, it really makes me back so far off to the right... it's like when my aunt sends me born again religious stuff - yeah, i am religious, but don't force it on me or else i will be so against it)... you and the folks that are getting on the president's back (bringing up an election that happened 3 years ago... come on! even i change my bits and set more often than that.)
freedom of speech is a wonderful thing... just don't be a complete boob about it for the love of gawd.
michele says it best, i feel... michael moore is a big fat asshat!
good thing he was booed off the stage - and steve martin said after that "Well, the Teamsters are helping Michael Moore into his trunk right now"

then right after moore's screamfest - the next documentary that won was "Twin Towers" about a police officer and a fire fighter - both brothers who died on 9.11... yet all that was ringing in people's ears was the blubbery hellbelly's high pitched: "We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in a time where we have fictitious election results, that elect a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons"
*sigh*... shaking my head. DUCT tape would have been a great thing to use during his "speech"

and peter o'toole was the classiest bit of the awards tonight.... as he "totters into antiquity"... *mwah* i loves me the peter o'toole
