david bloom. scud stud. age 39.

i just woke up. i know that i have been making light of some war stuff - just because i didn't exactly want this to become a dismal place to come to- and the Scud Stud watch that i had been goofing around with... well, one of the first reporters that i deemed Scud Stud worthy has died.

i have the teevee on when i sleep and i woke up to hear rob morrison saying that "david was a friend" and then "he will be missed"

what!? i jumped out of bed and zipped over to msnbc.com

sure enough, he's gone. while i am thinking that iraqis ambushed him, i read on...

he was 39 and has died of an apparent pulmonary embolism. poor guy.

yes... i am not ashamed to say my eyes teared up a bit... he will be missed.
