ABV's trapped by USPS

okay so i now have united healthcare - which i am not exactly pleased with the fact that i have to have my prescriptions MAILED to me monthly (yes. anti-baby vitamins)

okay - so i went to the doc a couple of weeks ago... he prescribed my usual prescrip... lovely. okay come time to let the insurance place know, i can't just plunk in the script on the computer, i have to have the doc now go back and fax the prescription to the insurance co. - so that was done last week...

okay... checking today on the status of shipment... let's just say i NEED this medication BY saturday the 14th.

nope. saying it'll show up next fricking tuesday the 17th... no. that's not good.

i notice the name of the drug they have is a little off... i call them to see what's what...

"oh, that's the generic version of ortho novum 1/35"

NO NO NO...

if there is ONE medication i DO NOT want a generic of it's birth control. i want the full-fledged-no-chincing-on-chemicals-version of ortho-novum 1/35...

not that there's any reason for me to fret about babies... at the moment, the ABV's are acting as more of a calendar again... and my week starts on Saturday.
