derby day!

to start... i forgot to "rabbit, rabbit" - so it's a "tibbar tibbar" evening.

i had a weird dream last night... dreamt i was wandering around red bank (nj) yet it looked like key west... from store to store... then i met up with a bunch of folks from work in a furniture store and 6 of us were sitting in a bed... then we got up and headed to the count basie theater - although it didn't look like the count basie... cowboy mouth was playing and there was only a half hearted crowd....

then they stopped the show because the kentucky derby was starting and 3 horses got scratched from the race... coming around the last turn and into the stretch a horse skidded and 4 horses got injured and had to be put down... i have no idea who won... all i know is that i woke up in a cold sweat... and crying.

anyone ever wake up crying?! very odd.

my pick for the day? well, i think i have to bet with the backstories and bet on Tapit.... seriously... a horse that has 3 eggs and washes them down with a pint of guinness?! and he's a grey!?! (my favourite colour of horse - see my old girl, Keepsake?) hell yeah - i am rooting for you!!!
