feline update!

so, as i said, we haven't seen the kitty since saturday.
tonight, one of the neighbor kids, i think he's like 11 or so, maybe younger, i can't tell ages of kids... anyway, my mom saw the kid peering in the front window...
she went to the door and asked "are you looking for me?"

and he said "is your daughter home?"

(sounds like i have an 11 year old suitor, doesn't it?)

anyway, i was upstairs, working on the portfolio and nursing my frigging headache (still there. wtf!?)

he told my mom that he (and his family) took the cat in and have welcomed her into their family... YAY! i was worried about that goofy kit. apparently, the family is totally happy and the kitten is playful as all get out... and here's the kicker, the kitty doesn't want to go outside. poor kit was traumatized out there i suppose.

it's a win/win situation.

right now, i am hoping to pass out soon since i have to get up for a 10am appointment in woodbridge.
