so, in looking at my stats today, i noticed that TGI(UT)DBDKWTW has been spending chunks of time like 20 minutes hither and tither looking at pages upon pages of my site...
whatever. i mean that's flattering and all to see that someone you used to date is "checking up on you" but it's also a little bittersweet.
no i don't want to get back together with him... but there's also that question in my head (even though i was the one who did the breaking up) that is like "what the eff? you were too wishy washy to step up to the plate and call me your girlfriend yet you are sending me books in the mail and reading my site 25 pages at a clip... and the photo site as well"
which makes me harken to the story in the times... (you may need to log-in to read it)about the Musician (who's site i've dug for a while) & the Fish... and an additional blogger...
since i wasn't dating a blogger, i cannot reap the stalking rewards that he can. i have no way of knowing how his weekend was or this and that (not that i really have been dwelling on that one) - yet he can. which almost leads me to want to lie and say how swankeriffic my weekend was etc, etc. whatever...
the rhb had taken a gander at my blog last year - he doesn't check it out really at all since he's not a computer guy (even though he's got a nice powerbook and decent set-up... *sigh*)... and the few times i'd seen his IP address i had a huge grip around my heart that was a "holy crap, what did i write about him that he may have read!?" kind of thing going.
i've hooked up with a couple of bloggers in the past but never as a relationship thing.. just a hookup or two... some i really dug their writing, one was just a fan of the site who i'd never read his site before and after we'd hooked up i kinda didn't like him because when i went to his site i realized that his writing was godawful and i broke the news to him that it wouldn't work...... and one was a stalker of mine for a couple of years... who i'd later found out had hooked up with another blogger a few months prior to me (and i could sense that in his blog at the time even though he never mentioned it... i felt that something hinky was going on... and that's a bit odd to be jealous that one of your stalkers is stepping out on you, right?)
i'll write more about this topic a little later... just was taking a coffee break...
