drove up to long branch and caught the 7:41am to ny...
I should get to the office by 9:04... I just finished the book Sideways (yes. what the movie's based on) and I really want to have a glass of wine... don't know much about wine but wouldn't mind trying a pinot noir (they yap about that a lot in the novel)
anyway... when I got off the train last night, waiting in squan station for the northbound train was my ex-tom... we haven't seen each other in about 4 years I would say... he looked good and we wound up yapping for about 15 min before his train arrived... and we're supposed to grab some coffee next week.
next thursday I have my UArts alumni mixer at heartland brewery... so that should be a lot of fun... hopefully people from my class'll show up... last time there was a nyc alumni get-together (at the society of illustrators) I was the only one from '92 and only one other ID major was there (he was a year ahead) so I am hopeful more folks'll show because there was a mailing that went out about it and all that good stuff.
what else? so far i've lost 6 pounds since jan. 9th... I was going to workout last night but wound up IMing back and forth with redheaded ex-bill... no, that's not the mashed potato boy... if you go to my photo section and then go to I think page 2 or 3 of the belmar parade area, he's in a few photos with me. yeah. that's pretty much the first guy that I was head over heels officially in love with. travels too much though for work... but I digress. damned redheads. they're like kryptonite to me. I'm totally powerless around them.
what else? just purging thoughts here since trying to fall asleep on the train would be pointless now...
got my friend jude and shorechick to run(okay. walk) the mid-winter 2 mile beach run with me... then the next day is the boathouse fundraiser for the parade.
swamped at work designing banners for one of the brands... only 20 more to go :)
what else? ah that's about it. have yourselves a kickass friday... pray it doesn't snow here this weekend otherwise the 507 main fundraiser may have a light turnout....
