okay so all's well -- train was delayed earlier due to an amtrak train being disabled ahead of us (arrrgh) - coincidentally, i was contacted by a reporter about the commute... will discuss more if/when article is published.
offered to drive trainboy home tonight (figured since the president was yammering on teevee and pre-empting survivor and the apprentice, i may as well do a good deed ;)
the dealership i am heading to on saturday has a british racing green mini convertible in stock... manual... did i mention british racing green!!?!? *sigh* i cannot wait.
then again, trainboy and i were walking through the 'squan station parking lot and i saw a vw beetle convertible... the are pretty damned cute - and very reminiscent of my first beetles i had (convertible and hardtop - with sunroof)
am supposed to hang with peewee and roundhead next week sometime... then i may be heading to see the saw doctors with roundhead in 2 weeks.. we'll see.
i have to get into work tres early tomorrow - a lot of stuff to do. 3 deadlines (actually finished one project on the train this evening...)
