am on the RRE.
haven't bought the powerbook yet... at first I was thinking about getting the 17" one, then I had input from some folks who said that it's huge and that if I were to use it on the train it'd be ridiculous (trainboy made a funny and said it was a "lapstop" computer)
so I began pricing out the 15" one.
then I got input from my former creative director, dave, who said if I didn't get the 17" i'd regret it.
I need to get Studio MX (and apple's having a deal if you buy a powerbook they'll knock $600 off your order.)
I also need to get illustrator, photoshop (image ready as well) and quark... there's some other Creative Pro thing that has photoshop, illustrator and a few other programs in it that I will most likely buy.
the thing sure is pretty sweet and I could definitely make some cash with it if I hustled with the freelance.
still up in the air about it... I do like seeing that loan money sitting in the savings account though.... except for the fact that it's smoldering and my pockets are burning.
of course, driving to the train this morning, I saw a blue mini convertible just sitting there...
remind me that I have to buy the $200million lottery tickets today....
