okay.... so... i have to work this weekend (yes. weekend commute)
what does this mean? no mini test drive. plus i'd asked the chick at the mini dealer what rates they give for excellent credit and she said the lowest is 6.5% for "ELITE" credit (eh, my credit is not so much on the elite side.... it's like, pulling itself up out of the mire kind of credit...)
so, divine intervention.... it's stepped in --- between my mini and me.
so i hunkered down tonight when i stepped in the door and watched The Apprentice...
ohhhhhhh baby... mini who? mini what?
I WAS BORN ON THE SUMMER SOLSTICE .... perhaps this is my "density"
(not sure where the hell my golf clubs will fit though.)

so last night after seeing the Solstice on the Apprentice, i wound up staying up late...
watched Letterman - who had Anthony LaPaglia on who was talking about his new movie "Winter SOLSTICE"
then i watched Craig Ferguson - who had Fran Drescher on and while she was talking i was tuning her out then she said something about "blah blah blah... summer SOLSTICE [insert annoying laugh]"
then this morning the weather guy on the today new york show said "yeah, you have your winter and summer SOLSTICES"
come on. have people been using the word Solstice in every sentence in their everyday talk for a while or is this just kinda FREAKY?????
