fantastic ... sitting in effing bloody newark penn station... on a train that is on track A where the announcement was just broadcast that this "is normally an eastbound track and are awaiting written instructions" to leave.
so what's the problem? a bridge is on fire between new york and newark.
the bridge has burned down wires for the trains.
there are no trains out of nyc tonight (we took the path)
when I say "we" I am talking about my commuter partner in crime, trainboy...
so they are making ALL local stops between newark and long branch.
the connection that SHOULD be in long branch waiting to take us to manasquan? the conductor said "i can't honestly say that it will be there"
two rows behind me right now? 2 kids (or 16) screaming.
and it's 9pm... the 7:08pm train is supposed to get into manasquan AT 9:02pm... and here i am sitting in effing newark
::: plunked in on my treO:::
