okay - so the site that i've been working on (freelance) is now up and live...
go, check it out, if you know of anyone that performs stand-up, send them the link, forward it, talk it up, the guys that run this (it's not a blog, but it's a showcase/seminar site for stand-up comics) are really swell eggs and i am totally backing this site up...

and if you are interested in it, and perform stand-up or want to know more about the "industry", get on their mailing list (i promise you won't get spammed by any crazy outside sites other than the sporadic emails the industry room might send)
