I caught the 6:55am train!! so early! I could've stayed on til newark then switched but I figured I would hop off at long branch and catch the 7:41out of there (otherwise i'd have to do the up & down stair action in newark. and right now I am laaaaazy)
so I pop off the train and follow a bunch of people on the train across the platform, sit down, good seat, then feel the train moving...... BACK TOWARDS MANASQUAN! - not what I wanted.
now am on the 7:44 out of elberon (what is the 7:20 out of squan) and guess what?
I now have to do the up & down stair action in newark to get my connecting train.
