okay so I was just about to write a scathing post without a silver lining... but this now has a glimmer of silver.
I was on the parkway going north to exit 105 so I could catch the train in long branch.
a big builder's pick-up cuts me off to exit as well.
wtf?
I see the guy is on his cell phone. whatever. then when we have to merge a little further up, I am in the left lane and the troll tries swerving into my lane...
so I gave him my best snarl (we wound up stopped at a light.)
he rolls down his window (still on phone) and hollers:
"hey you're pretty cute I want two sugars and cream in my coffee oh and your car would look great wrapped around my bumper"
oh. no. he. dint. mmmmm hmmm he dit.
the onslaught of obscenities is released from my interior. then I see the name and number of the builder... yetmann builders.
as we pull away - him swerving and chasing me - I call. get the answering machine... I proceed to leave a few 'choice' words for the to listen to over and over....
I make it to the train station - the truck stayed on rt 36.
when I get to the station I decide to call again. a man answers. he's the owner. rich yetmann.
I tell him what transpired and he says "in MY truck with MY name on it. I apologize... " then asked for a plate #. I told him I was too busy trying to get away from him... buuuuut.... I do know the guy had a beard and was heavyset and had gotten off the parkway at 105 and was on 36...
and he said "well that certainly narrows it down and this will be handled... if you have any other run-ins, call"
and so earlier I was going to post the number and release my minions, erm, I mean readers on them, but it seems as if it might just be this fat arsed slob that works for the company and NOT the company's fault.
nobody but nobody threatens my phooka.
