right now I will need to drive into city if I am performing. I don't want to be stuck with a train schedule to deal with. I know I probably sound like a jerk for even thinking of performing still... but the nurses said it should be fine. hell, visiting hours are 12-2 and 4-6... so I wouldn't be able to hang with her tonight anyway...
did I mention the blood oxygen level? when she came in yesterday she was at 66% then they put her on oxygen and she went up to 96% which was much better. but this morning she was in the 70s... not good.
I think I will go to the hair place and have them wash and dry it - I am just tired (yeah I showered but it's yankees cap/pigtails for me right now - certainly am not going onstage like that.)
so going back to GM, they gave me the technical medical term "she's got too much gunk in her lungs"
and I am sitting in the ICU lounge.. everyone else has families with them and are talking about what's up with their icu people.
one guy overdosed on a bottle of milk of magnesia - ew... drank an entire bottle in 10 seconds... and dehydrated quickly...
not sure what the other person is in for. something bad I guess.
some 90 year old woman is talking about her niece with a huge shamrock tattoo on her leg.
I really ought to try to focus on my set...
will give more GM updates when I can
