on the 7:41am out of long branch... there's a conductor (427180) who really ought to do voiceover work...
he starts off his mic work with a couple of "shave and a haircut" taps and then brings on the dulcet tones of a young (alive) barry white as he announces what station is next or which one we are presently at.
I bring this guy up because I can nap comfortably during the trip - usually on the train, the speaker will squawk and squeal and then a conductor will scream the bloody stations out and scare the frig out of me to the point where my heart starts palpitating fast. bad.
so, nj transit, if you have any radio spots ever, I suggest using this guy in them.
on another note, I am not sleeping now because some woman sitting next to me is flicking her one way ticket (almost on my leg. if she touches me I swear i'll, i'll, well, i'll probably make an annoyed *ahem*)... and shes on the cell phone talking loudly about her friend's cat that "has a too-mah"
god bless the kitty but I don't need to hear the details.
