Let us move on, and step out boldly, though it be into the night, and we can scarcely see the way.-- Charles B. Newcomb
okay - so, technically i haven't been "sick" this week.
in fact, i've never felt better. the thing is, yesterday, I resigned from my dayjob (where I've been since April)
why? well... um... my dayjob was interfering with my freelance work. since last december, I've barely had 3 hours sleep a night because I've been working the fulltime dayjob doing the web design and taking on my own clients' websites
right now, I've got jim gaffigan, tom papa, nyimprov.com, new york comedy club, the industry room that i work on daily.
at the moment i have another site that i am about to launch this week in time for the october 12 airing of late night with conan... will let you know.
also have another comedianne that i am in the prelim stages of design this week.
not to mention i have had 3 calls this week from a couple of managers & publicists who wanted me to send proposals and quotes for redesigns of a few comics' websites...
one of those comics i am going to be seeing tonight since he's performing nearby... hopefully that will fly because he's a good egg and i've loved his material for a while now.
and i've actually had to ask a couple of potential clients to wait for me to have a little free time - that's well and good but i don't like doing that.
so... i will be going from having 3 hours of sleep to having coffee hooked up intravenously and no-doz suppositories while applying 3 pounds of pancake makeup to my bags under my eyes... ick.
on that note... this is half the reason i haven't jotted much of anything down this week...
gigglechick interactive is now alive (well, except for the fact that my website is just a placeholder and business cards are in the process of being designed)
