well, yesterday was fantastic! it was the Belmar-Lake Como Saint Patrick's Parade --- and i was one of the folks lining everyone up.
so, arrived at the breakfast spot at about 9:20 (i was a few minutes late) and they assigned me a fella as my line up partner (good cop, bad cop thing... but we were both good cops and i think that's why everything ran smooth as silk in our section)
then after the parade my line up rookie of the year guy and i rode the golf cart back to the end of the parade and then wound up following some of my piper friends to a party at the auto parts store and had free smithwick's and corned beef... mmmmmmmm --- oh... AND potatoes!!!
then i headed to connelly station to see the bantry boys and ran into everyone in the world and then the rookie and i headed to 507 to see joe finn - who, unfortunately, had finished playing by the time we made it there...
awesome time though --- one of the most fun parade days!
next sunday i have to march with the committee in the Jersey City St. Patrick's Parade and then head to PJ Ryan's after

Looks like a fun time - I was at the Staten Island Parade same day. I never noticed it before, but have you ever been told you look like Ally Sheedy when she was younger?
