okay - just to keep my street cred, let me preface this by saying that I have a mac.
of course, today, i went out and bought yet another laptop (pc)... this makes a grand total of 2 pc desktops, 1 mac desktop and now 2 laptops (gateways)
this puppy's got a 17" screen... *grrrrrrowl* and now has Vista
whoa. not for nothing, but, i am now a certified geek, because i was fiddling around with the thing and did the "switch between windows" thing... my heart skipped a beat. as in love.
i need to get out of the house more, i guess.

Whatchoosayin'?? (4 yapped)
Now a certified geek? Huh. Thought that happened eons ago. Ok. I get it. You just got the piece of paper with the Vista to prove it...right?
I miss your frequency of posts of old (as everyone on the web exists only to please me, of course), but am glad that you're too busy doing "real" stuff to be able to as much time on this.
Ummm...(perhaps you posted about this and I missed it)...did you do the "Last Comic Standing" tryout thingie for this time around?
Ok. Be good. Or if you can't be good, disguise yourself as Michael Palin so no-one will know - or perhaps an old Rowan Atkinson character.

My favorite thing about Vista is that it was the version of Microsoft Windows that convinced my wife to get a Mac. Of course, as a Linux geek, I think she still has a long way to go. But, glad to hear that Microsoft has finally come out with the ability to switch between windows.

I returned my new Vista box to Best Buy after 2 weeks for one with XP Pro, because it was kludgy and a lot of programs don't work in it. :P
Kept the sweet 22" widescreen though :D
