i don't have any frigging sound now that i have my pc back.
i've reinstalled the sound card thing from the dell site. nada.
UPDATE 6:55PM: Dan the computer guy called me and told me to remove some black plastic thingy (yes. a thingy. my word, not his.) off the back of my cpu... i can hear!!!! woo.

Happy you are able to hear again. I was having a time trying to figure out how to teach you sign language without you seeing me. ;-)
