Go GC Go!! At least this is a "good" case of sore ass ;-) you now are sure the muscles are aware they are being subjected to a lifestyle change and although they are attempting to revolt we all know that YOU will win this battle through perserverance!!
Well take a moment and introduce yourself to you Gluteus Maximuus & Gluteus Medius! They are a runner's best friend, although I'm sure that some would argue that point. There are some other friends back there that will begin to introduce themselves over time. My periformis has a way of reminding me that I do not stretch enough.
There is a saying among many of my running friends ... "everybody want a tight butt - just not a dysfunctionally tight butt". You often here it repeated as we sit around stretching .... and stretching ... and stretching....
Whatchoosayin'?? (5 yapped)

Insert overused workout/bodybuilding cliche here
"No pain, no gain"
C'mon you wussy girlie girl, she's trying to
"pahmp **clap/point** you ahp!"
HAHA and Merry Christmas!
