so anywayyyyyy....
was up late doing the room cleaning thing last night.
it's nowhere near done... but, i DID throw out a ton of stuff. See, I had boxes of old t-shirts and clothes. Yeah, some of you might be saying "you should've given it to Goodwill" ---- actually, I gave about 8 garbage bags filled with decent clothes to goodwill last memorial day. Those were the good ones. This stuff was just shirts that I haven't looked at since BEFORE i moved back from Jersey City in 2003.
So, I went through them and said my goodbyes to some of the items with the memories.
Oh, and that nail with the bottle cap wrapped around it that I mentioned in a previous post? I wound up tossing the bottle cap and using the nail to hang up a picture frame (with pictures in it.)
About to head back up there (to the room) in a bit to keep tackling it. Took an hour or so to watch Meet the Press. Actually, I went food shopping early this morning and picked up breakfast and all that stuff. So it's been a productive day.
I was supposed to go to a fundraiser for the parade today, but, it's one of the ones that are up in Old Bridge. I'll wait till the ones in belmar start up again (belmarparade.com)
I figure that I'll get my shite organized here (cross fingers) today. I've gotta find the diamond pendant that my mom and dad gave me in the early 90s (it was their engagement ring and I got custody of it in the divorce --- alas, I haven't seen it in months and have no idea where the hell it is. The thing is, I haven't worn it in about 2 years... so it HAS to be SOMEWHERE in my room.)

hey no shame in taking a day off, those muscles gotta heal. i'm about to go clear my head (from working on a bunch of PERL code) with a 4 mile run in this balmy (*cough cough*) weather
