so yesterday i bought hanging file folders, 2 plastic file bins and a dymo label maker...
this morning at 5am, i finished going through a GIANT cardboard moving box with my mail from the past 2 years... and filed it.
man it felt good to get that monkey off my back.
then this afternoon, i tackled gigglemom's mountain of mail from the past 2 or 3 years that has been on the kitchen table... did the same folder/labeling thing and filed everything away.
there is still mail over near her computer table, but i took a break after i finished Mount Mailsuvius around 4pm
THAT felt awesome to get control of.
the kitchen and living room aren't done yet, but, i am seeing brighter light at the end of the tunnel.
on the gigglemom front, i saw her yesterday and she was fine... but when i called her today, she had a HORRIBLE cold/cough/fever blossoming at the rehab... dammit, she was doing so well.
they gave her tylenol and robitussin but couldn't give her antibiotics because apparently she still has antibiotics in her system from when she was in the hospital a week ago.
hopefully it's only a 24 hour bug.

lol, did you read Uncluttered today / yesterday about the lable machine? It seems you either love it or hate it.. me, I LOVE mine!
Currently trying to make lables small enough to go on the bottom of the spice jars that are in the wire shelf at the top of our pull out cupboard... then no more random searching!
Well done on the mail though, arrrrg! I still have a HUGE 'to be filed' pile in my room... but there always seems to be something more important (i.e. intersting) to do rather than filing
