Whatchoosayin'?? (10 yapped)
My husband and I were on that ship on our honeymoon in 1994. It was a blast. We ate like kings, but actually lost weight because we didn't take the elevator at all and walked tons. I hope you have a great trip.

You'll love Key West - of course I miss the old Key West when it was still a very unknown island and wasn't corporate run. :) Back when I was there - ships couldn't pull port into Key West, so the only way to get there was by plane or by car, both very long trips!
You'll have fun. This is so your gig to have some fun and relax! I'm so envious. :)

katie: awesome! yeah the ship looks huge!
susan: yep. my cousins live in the keys and i went to Key West in 2004. I am looking forward to the Bahamas since i've never been there.
lem: most likely i will not be taking my laptop - i think i am going to make it a true vacation. (of course, i'll probably be going nuts by the time i get home.)

Key West! I LOVE Key West! I lived there from 1988-1994. Susan is so right, it is nowhere near the quaint little island it once was but I would never turn down a chance to go back. Those were "definitely" the days!

So I could book a cruise and hit on you ... except that we'd never work as a couple I couldn't dye my hair red. ;-)

While you're in the Bahamas, stop by the Dunmore Beach Club in Harbor Island and ask them if they still have a package for Grace White.
I had shipped a FedEx Priority package from my store for a customer who was sending medicine to his bosses wife who went on vacation and forgot her meds. The package arrived in the Bahamas the following day but wasn't delivered to the hotel until 2 weeks later. Trouble is, by that time, the recipient was already back in NJ. I asked FedEx if they could retrieve the package but, for some strange reason, they told me they couldn't. I eventually was able to convince FedEx to offer my customer a refund...

thanks for the tips! actually, the days will go very fast in each port. we basically will be stepping off the ship at 8am and then back by 5 or 6pm each day.
so i think some sight seeing and hopefully snorkeling will be had.
i'll be with my aunt, uncle & cousin, so i sort of have to follow their lead.
and in Key West, I think we're just going to meet up with my other cousin and his wife and meet their new baby.
