holy smokes! this morning i spent an hour procrastinating about work-work and spent it attempting to prune my blogroll
i made it through the Cs
I will need to spend more time dealing with this.
During this weeding session, I realized a few things:
• I had Five Hundred and Fisty Two (552) Links in my blog roll. I now have Four Hundred Forty Nine (449)
• Three (3) people on my blogroll between A-C are dead. I don't mean their blogs, I mean the actual people. Sad. I know there are a few deceased folks within the rest of it. (Namely, Mandarin Design who I snag design tips/color hex #s from. So I won't be deleting her. When I come across the others I will have to think hard as to whether or not to remove them.)
• Thirty-four (34) blogs were dead or abandoned. Poor things. Some I had on my roll for 6 years. Apparently, I do not read enough blogs to notice this though, because there was one on there who I used to read and it was left to collect dust in August of 2005.
• There were fifteen (15) blogs that I don't even remember reading - and I, being the packrat that I am, must've clicked Blogroll It! at one point or another. I tried reading them again and was like "yeah, i'm getting nothing from this" and decided to toss them.
• I need to attempt to categorize them (humor/politics/weird/non-blog)
• There are still a few in A-C that might be purged.
• I have way too many stinking blogs on my blogroll.
• I should just purge all and have like twenty (20)... then that packrat thing comes into play with my head.
• DO YOU KNOW OF A COOL/FUNNY/INTERESTING BLOG THAT I SHOULD ADD TO MY BLOGROLL? (LEAVE IT IN MY COMMENTS... I do think that I might just delete my blogroll and start from semi-scratch.... maybe.)

Wow! I didn't even know I was in your blogroll. Thanks! I recommend you do what I do. Just publish the blogs in your feed reader (hopefully you use one). Most of them have an export function and most blog software have an import function which will recognise these files and import the links to your blogroll.

This has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but last night as I walked down my street I came around the corner & saw a Hillary Campaign sign on the lawn. I laughed so hard (I'll try to get a picture of it this afternoon if it is still there) I guess his daughter is home from New Jersey & she brought it with her.

A blogger that I've been reading since 2002 still has my original blog name in her list of reads (Red GrandAM)... and it's weird... it my domain that I still own - but it links to some other website.

You know... you really do have a lot of blogs over there. Do you keep in contact or read all of them?
I know I've got a dozen or so and it's hard to keep up with all of them myself.
