so, word on the street (a.k.a. the 5th floor of the hospital) is that gigglemom MIGHT be coming home tomorrow.
there's a pretty good chance of that.
i just got home from visiting her and then i had to pick up the laundry and had a few checks to deposit (YAY!!!) so, i've been running and racing for most of the day (when not cleaning and fricking working.)
i am supposed to go out with kerry tomorrow night to our friend Terry's (a bunch of girls are supposed to be there to see Ker)
i'm hearing the sprinklers going off in the front and backyards.
weird because they went on at 8am and didn't stop until around 4pm... and now they're on again.
way to waste water, condo association! (although my birdbath is very full right now and earlier there were about six robins hanging out in it earlier. looked like some weird feathery hot tub gathering.)
just turned on the Greatest American Dog as i write this. The older fella's dog was just bitten by a snake or something and bleeding. They've got the mic on and you can hear her whimpering and all that. oh man, i know it's a tv show (albeit, reality) but, that sound just tears my heart in two.
(commercial break.)
ugh, there's a new show coming out this fall called The Ex List starring that freaky looking girl that was on Gray's Anatomy as the pregnant/amnesia/plastic surgery chick.
(dog show is back)
old feller is crying. dog's okay. had a bite on it's ear from a feral cat or ran through some wire. now has an ear bandage.
okay. good. poor whiny pup.
anyway... now that she's okay, i can focus on writing.
i've got other laundry that i've gotta sit here and organize/fold for a while. guess i'll do that and then hunker down to do a little work and then watch Gaffigan on My Boys at 9:30 on TBS and then Attell at 10pm (on Comedy Central)
