so, i'm sitting here with a crazy tummyache right now. seriously. ugh.
anyway... yesterday, at the doctor's he let me know that i've gained 25 pounds since my last visit last july.
gee. i hadn't noticed.
really? i hadn't noticed my clothes getting smaller - i was thinking that the laundromat fluff n' fold guy was just shrinking them on purpose.
i hadn't noticed that my breathing gets crazy if i walk to the mailbox (that's why i drive to the mailbox now on my way home. ta-da! problem solved!)
i hadn't noticed that the scale had horrid numbers on it... i just thought that the scale was turning metric or something.
anyway... that bit of sarcasm brought to you by a girl sitting here with a tummyache after eating shite pasta from the place down the street (it always makes me feel sick... yet, i seem to still order from there.)
i've been paying for the weight watchers monthly pass for the past 2 years. gone a few times hither and tither.
i just noticed they have a thursday meeting at 12:30pm.
think i am gonna try it.
i'd been going to their monday at 10am meeting (when I went.) and the leader was fine. then i went to the 5pm monday meeting and the leader was some sort of psychotic septuagenarian - very weird woman. made me think of Mrs. Roper if she was schizophrenic. Never went back.
Anyway... think i am gonna head over there and start counting my points again. gotta get into the mentality.
See, back in 2001, I was living in Jersey City and went to the 7pm Thursday meetings where there was a kick ass leader named Marie. AWESOME!! Thursdays really worked for me for some reason. So maybe I can try it again down here.
See, another thing about Weight Watchers when I did it and lost 40 pounds in 3 months back in 2001, was i was LIVING ALONE and didn't have to effing run to Dunkin Donuts to get "anyone" a snack or bring in extra food "just to have it in the house"
I miss that. Keep in mind - as I've said many times, I love gigglemom. But we're both getting effing HUGE and it doesn't help when she tells me she doesn't want to do weight watchers or even attempt to go to a meeting with me.
It works better when BOTH people are working that program.
I'm hoping to whittle down to 150. That'd be a decent weight.
I can do it this time.

I'm still plugging away - I've lost 35 pounds since December. All of that was lost by mid-May. I've lost none since then. So I need to get back on board too. I've set a small goal: lose 20 pounds by Thanksgiving. Wanna join me?
