well...
yesterday (about 22 hours ago) i tried opening up my Adobe cs3 Photoshop. -- you know, to do some work.
i received a "Licensing for this program has stopped working" -- and it told me to uninstall then reinstall Adobe CS3 (that means Creative Suite)
i tried opening Dreamweaver and Illustrator... got the same message (they're part of the cs3 package)
now, folks, i spent about $1900 last summer for this bundle of programs. I need 'em.
I am having issues like crazy and Adobe's support team hasn't gotten back to me (which annoys me)
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also using a licensing patch and still no progress. not good.
then the machine is saying "oh, hey, GC, uh, yeah... we barely have any memory available"
to which i replied "you've gotta be kidding me, because i have all of my files on the MyBook and all that, so you shouldn't have only 4MB of disk space left."
and the PC say "uh, yeah, well... sorry" and then has crashed on me 4 times whilst performing the reinstall
man, between this now and last week's 3 days of BS and $$$$ i am not pleased.
UPDATE @ 3PM: got Adobe on the horn - since they hadn't answered me via email - and was on there with them for an hour... thankfully it was an 800 # since i could almost smell the curry through the phone.
yes. i just said that. whatever.
after much repeating by both parties, we finally went through the steps to get the licensing to work again.
so i am back in designer action.

Welcome to the YapFest (6 yapped)
Sounds like you need the Geek Squad to come over to your house! What about that guy that does the work on my pc's??? Can't he make house calls and guarantee what he fixed????
I meant YOUR pc's not mine, lol......ugh.....third shifter here needing to nod off, sorry.
hey, here's a KB article...
