my cousin brought food over last week when he moved in and put these in the freezer. I just put them in the trash.
so, this meat was around when the twin towers were still standing, the chicken was here when Bill Clinton was still Prez and the pork was from before we went to war with Iraq.
I wasn't even in my 30's and hadn't gone to Ireland and I was at my first web design job when that chicken was purchased.

Welcome to the YapFest (10 yapped)
wow, i think you just saved a life or two
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH BOY!!!! WOW!
and I thought I was a packrat! I just got done throwing out some old meds over at my parent's place this weekend. My sister and I cleaned the condo and got rid of all my mom's clothes and I cleaned out the big bathroom, there were meds from '97 in there! Three big boxes of garbage out of one bathroom!
Still looks in good shape... glad you caught the dates on the packages! Ick... Lordy, March 1999; that was 3 cross-country moves ago for me; amazing what can happen in a decade...
OMG, gross! *LOL* We had just moved back to VA from GA and I just got a part time job. I think I started around that date.
Have I been out of the loop that long??? Your cousin moved in? Boy, I guess I've been a wee bit busy! HI!
Oh... and the frozen food.... ew.....
LMAO... The same thing happened to me when my In-Law's moved out of state! My MIL brought over a ton of frozen food & 85% of it was over a year old! I couldn't help myself... I snickered... LOL
What? Freezer stuff goes bad? I cannot recall ever checking the date on food out of my disney vault.
WHAT?!? Oh my god. I was in my senior year of college and just about to move to Vancouver, not knowing what a whirlwind of a life I'll have. Crazy..how the heck did he manage to keep that??
