so, 2 weeks ago, I went off the Anti-Baby Vitamins (Loestrin Fe 28) --- because I don't have health insurance anymore (basically because I was paying other bills and couldn't afford the $300/month for the insurance... and without insurance, the pill was $60/month) plus I figured that I haven't needed the damned things in months... other than to see what day it was.
So, I went off 'em.
Over the past 3 days The Girls have been KILLING ME. seriously. It's almost like they felt like when I was getting them at 13 years old and having growing pains and hormone craziness.
No idea what I can do... I am hunched over 90% of the day so my shirt isn't touching them. Don't even mention the word "bra" --- OW! jeezuz.
I haven't been able to go to the gym in a few days because it's unbearable... although i MIGHT attempt to go later to see if exercising might help get the blood and endorphins flowing so that there's some relief.
I googled "sore breasts" and everything I read has to do with breastfeeding... um... not for nothing, but, yeah, that hasn't happened. [UPDATE: I googled some more and found something called mastalgia]
I'm thinking I need to go to the pharmacy and pick up giant band-aids to slap on 'em... either that or head to a stripper's warehouse and get some protective pasties.

Welcome to the YapFest (11 yapped)
bra.... ooops.
Okay too funny!I saw your status on facebook and had to come over to find out more. Cabbage Seriously? Never heard of that...ever!
I can however totally relate--I too stopped the ABVs but then got myself implanted with with Implanon in my arm--a different kind of hormone entirely and I am not so much dealing with boob issues anymore, but rather PMS symptoms and bloating my fingers and toes especially!
As painful as it sounds, put on the softest, most comfiest, bestest bra you have. Give it half an hour and see if the girls feel better.
I know you're not pregnant, but preggo women get the same thing, and yes, the last thing you want to think about it putting on a bra. But I was told by my ob/gyn to put one on anyway, and voila! Sooo much better.
Now, when you take it off, well, that's a different story, but I digress.
I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on tv, but ...
You know I'm just going to bite my tongue right about now.
Just like a guy to try and fix things, but ...
Walgreens has a store in Brick and they offer this Generic Prescription Savings Plan.
The formulary is at Value-PricedGenericsList.pdf.
You might find something useful on it.
