Over the summer I just didn’t even give a hoot as to my weight loss. I turned 40 on June 21st, started a new job 9 days later, trekked around the SouthWest for nine days and just didn’t care.
It’s time I started caring again… Today, I weighed myself and I was 229.6 (which isn’t as bad as the 240 I was at earlier this year, but, still… I’ve gained about 15 pounds since June.)
Today, I had a craving for a sausage McGriddles from McD’s… I posted this to facebook and had folks trying to deter me from doing so.
Instead, I pounded a SlimFast and took Gigglepup to the Reservoir and walked a little over a mile (in my new Skechers Shape-Ups). Then I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got a Turkey Sausage & Egg White Flatbread as well as a Large Toasted Almond Iced coffee (with regular milk.)
and for lunch I opted for a cup of macaroni salad (I made it last night with rotini pasta, green peppers, chopped onions and Hellman’s mayo)
